Professional Experience
Since joining FGKS Law in 2003, John has met the transactional and day-to-day legal advisory needs of businesses, from start-ups and small businesses to international and publicly-traded companies. Regardless of size, every business deserves legal counsel that understands that business and provides excellent and timely advice and legal work. Value-added legal representation is at the core of John’s practice at FGKS Law.
As a subset of his primary practice, John routinely advises business clients on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as business exit strategies such as family and key employee succession.
Outside of the office, John is an avid runner and coach/spectator of kids sports. John, his wife Betsy, and their two children reside in Troy, Ohio.

FGKS Law advises and represents clients with respect to all matters involving residential and commercial real estate and related improvements, including transfers, leases, development, easement and land use restrictions, financing, annexation, zoning, title defect issues, mechanic’s liens, and foreclosure proceedings. Our title agency, Western Ohio Title Agency, in consultation with our attorneys, handles title searches, real estate closings, and the issuance of title insurance commitments and policies.
