As a lawyer and certified public accountant, Craig focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and corporate and individual federal, state and local tax compliance. He also represents clients in resolving tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. Craig has handled the transfer, acquisition, financing, zoning and other related governmental regulatory matters for various real estate transactions including drafting purchase agreements, leases, easement agreements, and 1031 exchange agreements.
Prior to joining FGKS Law, Craig was a tax senior at Clark Schaefer Hackett in Dayton, Ohio, where he advised clients on a wide range of income, gift, and estate tax-related matters. Craig graduated with distinction from Ohio Northern University College of Law with a certificate in Taxation, and was an editor on law review. He and his wife, Lisa, reside in Anna with their three children, Emma, Claire, and Riley.
